A Dr. Seuss Garden November 13, 2008

Filed under: Uncategorized — carrotqueen @ 2:23 pm

My sister and sister-in-law have also been bitten by the sustainable gardening bug, it seems. Anyway, while I’m digging up beds over here in Ohio, they’re digging up beds in Washington. And shopping for heirloom seeds. My sister has a new idea of making a Dr. Seuss themed garden, with the strangest-shaped vegetable of every type. Like dragon carrots, chioggia beets, and best of all, filderkraut cabbage. Here’s some odd-looking onions, too.

Tempting, tempting.
